One Lucky Cowboy - Carolyn Brown Pretty lackluster. The banter wasn't really banter for much of the book; it came across as simply arguing for argument's sake. And - friends in Texas - is this really how Texans talk? Do Texans not learn proper grammar? Just curious. Jane is supposed to come across as feisty, and simply comes off as juvenile. And there was absolutely no reason for Slade to hate her so much, so why did he?

Complete with stereotyped bottle blondes with a few too many pounds and nasty little children that take after their momma, this one didn't do a whole lot for me. In fact, about halfway through, I thought it should be ending soon. AToo bad it didn't.
