At first, I thought there would be no way to redeem Alexius, but he found himself counfounded by how much Juliana meant to him. I enjoyed almost every aspect of this book. The entire second half seemed to be about Juliana in peril, which irritated me a little, but it served to make Alexius realize how much she means to him. Still, I'd rather have had more interaction between h/h.
I also couldn't figure out why Kyd would still want Belinda, even though he'd acknowledged he knew her faults. She was just a bitch, pure and simple.
