Just jotting down a few thoughts before I write up a full review. Loved the book til about 3/4 through. I've been reading shorter books recently and I was thinking how wonderful it was that LLM took the time to develop these characters, infuse them with personality, and create a great new setting in Parable. Then the book kind of ended quickly with I love you and a wedding. I felt a little cheated after a long wonderful book. I wanted a more thoughtful resolution and ending. Though I loved the way that Slade and Hutch just nodded and moved on. I can see that over time they will develop a great relationship.
