Cavanaugh Judgment - Marie Ferrarella This was pretty standard fare for Ferrarella. Greer was a terrific heroine, strong, capable, funny. It was harder to get to know Blake. I didn't believe as much in the romance and love after such a short time. Blake seemed like the kind to fall slowly. The I love yous after a single night together didn't work for me. With a higher page count she may have been able to pull it off. I wanted to see Blake's process of falling in love.

And a note about the suspense: I would have liked it far more had the revelation about Blake's wife at the end not happened. And if he wasn't so blase about it. It would have been better if the whole thing had happened as they thought.

Good but not great.
